Unified Communications, Solutions Architect
Well established company in Hanover, MD is looking for Unified Communications, Solutions Architect. This is a direct hire opportunity. The SA is responsible for the assessment of business requirements; collection, identification, and approval of technical specifications; and the subsequent development of technology solutions that require development to be viable. The SA will envision and create solutions that meet requirements; model the pieces of an infrastructure and their points of integration; prove the feasibility of a design; create the design artifacts that are required to deliver and to maintain the infrastructure; guide a solution through to its completion; and ultimately can be implemented and supported in production.

B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related major or equivalent IS / business experience.
5 – 7 years experience designing, implementing and supporting network solutions.
Experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting VoIP/IPT in addition to other Unified Communications technologies, such as e-mail/messaging, video conferencing, instant messaging/presence, audio and web conferencing.
Hands-on experience with conference room and desktop Video Conferencing technologies: Cisco/Tandberg Telepresence preferred.
2 years experience with Cisco IPT. CISCO Voice certification, preferred.
1 year experience with Microsoft Unified Communications products (Exchange and Lync), preferred
