The Boeing National Security Programs Team in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a talented and experienced Test Specialist to work on programs in a growing portfolio of intelligence, security and information systems. The systems, programs, and projects cover a large spectrum of engineering, software development, IT, computing and network technologies and include: cyber security, distributed networks, command and control systems, web portals, telecommunications, data mining, data systems design, and Information Assurance in the domain of cyber solutions. The candidate selected for this position will become a member of an exciting program as a Test Specialist responsible for developing, implementing and testing system components.
Qualified candidates should have the following: 1) experience integrating and testing software systems for intelligence processing, storage, and retrieval systems and frameworks; 2) experience analyzing requirements from a test perspective, preparing test plans and procedures, monitoring and reporting test schedules, writing test cases and discrepancy reports; 3) experience with basic UNIX commands, basic knowledge of SQL commands, knowledge of software testing tools; 4) experience developing and implementing test plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports.
General requirements: Performs research and analysis on processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Consults with customers to clarify and refine requirements. Interprets and translates requirements into functional specifications. Develops and executes tests to validate system functionality against specifications.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have a minimum of 2 years experience in software or systems testing?
Do you have BOTH: a) a current Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI); AND b) a current Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph?
Typical Education/Experience
Level 2 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
