Job Description: Performs echocardiographic studies. Assists in the implementation of protocols and procedures and participates in ongoing Performance Improvement program. Education: High school graduation or equivalent. CPR certification. Experience:Six months experience in echocardiography. Current registry or registry-eligible in Cardiovascular Technology preferred. Skills: Verbal and written communication. Must demonstrate good analytical, math, organization and problem solving abilities. PC knowledge desired. Ability to recognize emergency medical situations. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Must be able to distinguish between colors. Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs). Able to push/pull up to and in excess of 150 lbs. frequently. Working Conditions: Exposure to electrical hazards and non-ionizing radiation.
