Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities:
*The Technical Project Manager will be technology savvy with strong business acumen and will execute a product roadmap for our content management solutions based on extensive dialogue with clients
*The Technical Project Manager must possess a blend of business, technical and communication skills and must be willing to spend significant time understanding clients' requirements and developing innovative solutions
*Leading a product development team, the Technical Project Manager will manage the product throughout the lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and client requirements
*Manage development of technical work products (requirements, UI mockups, data field mappings, test scripts) and tasks (internal and customer requirements reviews, integration testing, internal testing) to converge the product to a releasable state on a regular basis, minimize rework, and maximize resource utilization
*Manage the development of use cases, process flows, functional and non-functional requirements, user interface prototypes, and test plans as well as make all technical presentations at client meetings
*Work with senior management and existing project management team to position our company for fast and stable growth, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
*Participate in proposal development, including requirements gathering, estimation, and writing
*And all other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills:
*Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Master's preferred)
*Minimum of four (4) years of software product management experience, preferably using Microsoft Technology-based development products
*Technical background with experience in one or more of the following:
Enterprise Software Architecture & Development
Web-based Technologies
Microsoft .NET
Microsoft WPF
Microsoft SQL Server
*Project Management and resource allocation in a dynamic environment
*Detailed understanding of software development process with some software development experience
*Researching and solving technical problems
*Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
*Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
*Proven ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced, high-growth and high pressure environment
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Experience developing SaaS applications - highly desirable
*PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
