Req ID # 2275BR Advertised Position Title Software Test Engineer Country United States Work Location MD, Annapolis Junction Job Description Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area. Required Experience: Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 2-5 years
. At least two (2) years experience in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems. . Proficient in the development and integration of test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports. . At least two (2) years of requirements analysis experience and in particular must be fully trained or have experience in the testing of systems at the component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels. . Writing test cases and writing discrepancy reports. . Understanding of basic UNIX, DOS and Windows commands and basic understanding of capturing snapshots. . Knowledge of basic UNIX and Windows administration skills, and how related systems software works and relates to associated software.
