The Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations is responsible for the planning and execution of Sales and Marketing goals for the US E-commerce business. What will I do at this company?
Facilitate moving SEM from an outsourced solution to in-house.
Help us expand and grow our SEM program within target efficiency measures with the use of internal bid management systems and processes.
Work with our current vendor to improve the existing program, move some processes in house and augment the vendor's approach.
Build and maintain an order allocation system for all acquisition and retention programs that enables us to look beyond last click, last call, last visit attribution to see and respond to other drivers in the path to purchase.
Build and maintain data feeds to the comparison shopping engines and other third parties.
Evaluate and optimize the efficacy of our retargeting/display efforts.
Provide analysis and tracking of programs to help inform our forecasting and planning activities.
Serve as a resource for ad hoc analysis, program improvement etc.
Create redundancy and sustainability in our marketing programs through systems and resources so that we maintain confidence in the solutions we bring in-house.
Occasional support for the build of our marketing database
Occasional ETL/file transfer/data feed responsibilities to support marketing programs
What does this company need from me?
10+ years experience within top 100 e-tailer or multi-channel merchant with 5 or more years focused on E-commerce Marketing
Established network of business and vendor relationships in E-commerce space.
College degree required. An MBA is desirable.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Web Analytics packages.
Proven track record in bringing a blend of creativity, business rigor and passion that drove meaningful, sustained, profits.
