Senior Manager, Global Sports Marketing (Sports Media/PR/Broadcasting)
The Global Sports Marketing Senior Manager will connect strategy and global asset activation. He or she will assist in executing the Sports Marketing needs against the larger global strategy as well as help to develop, manage and support market strategies for Sports Marketing. The person will be the internal point of contact for all global sports marketing personnel and will be charged with developing consistency in the story we tell through our assets on a Global front.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Be Internal POC for all Global Sports Marketing personnel & corporate resources.
Connect Global asset activation strategies.
Consolidate, coordinate and leverage Sports Marketing assets globally.
Assist in execution of Sports Marketing needs against larger global event Strategy (Olympics, World Cups, etc.)
Help develop, manage and support market strategies for Sports Marketing.
Manage budget housed under Global Sports Marketing.
Help identify assets needed for corporate int'l strategy. Work w in market personnel to execute.
Own USOC relationships.
Negotiate US NGB deals and be a resource for global NGB deals..
Be POC to provide info in negotiating deals based on past and current deals.
Help develop and drive execution on activation strategies for global assets and global events.
Manage photo/commercial shoot needs as is relates to Global Sports Marketing assets.

Qualifications to be considered:
4-5 yrs experience in negotiating sponsorships
7-10 yrs management experience
International Marketing experience
Global event experience
Ideal candidate will have previous Olympic and Athlete/Agent/Manager management experience
Willingness to travel internationally extensively

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
