Physiotherapy Associates,one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing physical therapy rehabilitation companies has a part-time opening in our Pikesville, MDclinic for aRehab Aide! TheRehab Aide assists the Physical Therapist in pre/post patient room and equipment set-up. This position will also assist in administrative duties of the clinic including front desk assignments. The position is responsible for following all compliance, Medicare and HIPPA policies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: · The Tech/Rehab Aide shall at all times be under the orders, direction and immediate supervision of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist · Assist clinical staff with pre/post patient room equipment set-up · Assures compliance with Federal/Medicare guidelines and company compliance policies · Clean and maintain all therapy/exercise equipment · Keep current with laundry and maintains adequate stock of supplies · Complete OSHA training on a yearly basis and adhere to OSHA guidelines and other governmental regulations for safety inspections, cleaning, disinfecting, storage of chemicals and disposal of waste. · Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions and responses to treatment in an effective, professional manner. · Play a significant role in specific area of facility operations (may be scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) REQUIRED CREDINTIALS: · High school diploma or GED · Successful completion of training session and training period for a Rehab Aide · Completion of OSHA training Apply for this exciting opportunity on-line atwww.physiocorp.comor fax resume to 410-486-8680
