PROCESS ENGINEER
The Strouse Corporation is the leading source for design, prototyping and contract manufacturing of adhesive products. Manufacturers and inventors of medical products, automotive tiers, electronics, hand-held devices, renewable energy and military/aerospace have come to rely on our rapid laser prototyping, Class 10,000 Clean Rooms and the expertise of the Strouse engineering staff.
The Strouse Corporation is looking for a talented and resourceful full-time Process Engineer to assist in the launch new products and refine current production processes.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience in:
Managing the launch of new products and processes to meet customer demand and sales strategies.
Managing a team to implement 5S principals.
Sourcing for raw materials.
Managing new equipment installations and related design changes.
Implementing quality process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred or 3 years related process engineering experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with 2D AutoCAD.
Demonstrated breadth of knowledge of statistical process capability.
Ability to set goals, measure progress, and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven leadership skills and commitment to working in a team environment.
Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and build and manage effective, collaborative relationships.
Experience with SQC Pack or Minitab, geometric tolerancing and familiarly with vision systems desirable.
