PATIENT CARE MANAGER
IP PSYCH DETOX
Position Summary
Under minimal administrative direction, is responsible for the 24 hour organization, management and direction of Shepherd Hill inpatient care unit. Provides care for a psychiatric and chemical dependency adult and geriatric patient population. May be required to float throughout LMHS and perform other duties as requested.
Responsibilities
· Must possess analytical abilities and sound patient care knowledge necessary for the provision of all aspects of patient care.
· Advanced computer skills
· Proficiently operate various office equipment, including electronic medical records and PC's, to efficiently complete position tasks.
* Requirements
· Minimum requirement, bachelor's degree in nursing
· Maintain licensure in the state ofOhio
· Minimum of 4 years of psych nursing experience
· Maintain CPR certification (HCP)
· Must attain crisis intervention certification within first year of employment
· Mental health certification preferred
