We are seeking qualifed candidates for the recently opened Part B Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator is the primary interface between the
client, the Part B application maintainer, the Part B Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and the IBM Federal Data Center (FDC) for purposes of executing the Part A system (online and daily batch) with the proper inputs and ensuring correct results. Some responsibilities include ensuring 24 X 7 on-call coverage, abend resolution, communication of issues, and installing releases from the applciation maintainer.
Duties:
– Take direction from the client to coordinate preparation of the Part B system for daily processing
- Interface with the IBM FDC team to coordinate schedule, job control and other day to day changes
– Interface with MACs to coordinate day to day changes to inputs and outputs
– Interface with the application maintainer to coordinate resolution of production problems

Consultants hired into GBS Public Sector will typically be located in an IBM office or at an IBM client site primarily in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In many cases, relocation to the Washington, DC area is required & is not reimbursable. However, we do have opportunities that require residence in other strategic locations in the USA . While most projects are in the DC metro area, Consultants must be able to travel to projects that are in the DC Metro area and to those projects located outside the local area. Some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally < 1 year.
