Director of Medical/Surgery Unit needed for community hospital serving the greater Baltimore/Washington, DC area.
This hospital is part of a large healthcare network.
As the Director of Medical Surgery you report directly to the CNO, and you are responsible for four 4 units including: Med/Surg unit, Oncology unit, Med/Surg Ortho unit, Joint and Spine unit, Stroke unit.
Supervising 90 FTE positions.
The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, management and communication skills.
Prior experience in a Director of Medical/Surgery Unit job or other Nurse Manager positions a plus.

Work Experience:
Minimum of Licensed Registered Nurse with Bachelors Degree.
Masters preferred.
3-5 years Director level experience over multiple units.
Excellent communication skills.
Prior experience in Nursing Manager jobs or a Director of Nursing job a plus.
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 depending on experience. Benefits, and Relocation assistance.
