The applicant must possess good organization skills, oral communication skills (e.g. briefing/presentations), and very good written communication skills (e.g. test plans, reports, and supporting documentation).
The candidate will understand intermediate to advanced computer principles, intermediate to advanced networking (including troubleshooting) principles, and intermediate system engineering principles. This person will also have operating systems experience such as Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux, software testing tools and suites (e.g. HP Quality Center), network monitoring and analysis software (e.g. Wireshark), signal/traffic generators. Required Experience: Bachelors Degree in Science, Math, Engineering and 5-8 years
Knowledge of network principles and design Experience with TCP/IP networking Desired Skills: Experience programming/scripting using C/C++, Java, UNIX/Linux shell scripting Prior hardware testing experience Experience with advanced networking principles (e.g. SONET/SDH) spaning multi platform/vendor lines System test procedure development Requirements analysis Technical data interpretation and analysis Clearance Level Required TS/SCI with Poly Minimum Education Requirements BS/BA Degree or Equivalent Percent of Travel Required Less than 25% Work Status Full-Time
