Home Health Aide Department: Home Care Schedule: Flex Shift: Flex Hours: Job Details: - 1-3 years
Under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, bathes, toilets, dresses, and feeds patients as needed. Performs some homemaker chores as instructed and is responsible for care of the patients' immediate environment. Reports to the nurse any changes in patients' condition. Performs nursing assistant duties as directed and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have valid Certified Nursing Assistant license / Maryland Board of Nursing. Successful completion of nursing assistant or Red Cross training course required; certification preferred. Minimum one year experience in long term care, acute care or home care. Must have valid driver's license, current insurance and own transportation.
