Fabrication Technician Department: Nascott Fabrication Lab Schedule: Full time hourly with Benefits Shift: Day shift Hours: Job Details: Nascott Rehabilitation Services has an immediate need for a Fabrication Tech to join our team. In this role, you will apply accepted orthotic and prosthetic fabrication techniques in providing services and products for patients. Assigned devices will require orthotic and/or prosthetic fabrication skills for a variety of patient specific devices based on the Practitioner's assessment of the patients' need. Qualifications EDUCATION: High school graduation or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: 1 year orthotics & prosthetics (O&P) fabrication technician experience. LICENSE/CERT/REG:ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics) certification preferred. SKILLS: Working knowledge of the orthotic and prosthetic field as evidenced from reports of past employer(s), samples of practitioner testimonials, if available, and on going monitoring of practitioner satisfaction with the finished device.
