ELECTRICAL PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

Job Description:

An outstanding opportunity exists for aSuperintendentwith a strongelectrical background in industrial constructionto join a leading, well-established civil and industrial construction firm. Only candidatesLOCAL to the Mid-Atlantic Regionwill be considered.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

* Provide technical direction and leadership involving critical and/or complex components of the project
* Supervise multiple foreman and craft peoplewhile setting the standards for safety, production and quality.
* Lead the team in project planning, value-added engineering means and methods,developing work packagesand preparing production indicators/benchmarks, and developing the master schedule
* Ensure proper environmental permits are in place(identify any state or local laws relating to environmental compliance); Educate our team to ensure understanding and compliance with permit requirements.
* Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material. Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors. Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications
* Interpret production goals from work packages for craft supervisors, ensuring full understanding to enable daily communication of productivity goals to crews executing the work.

MUST have the following Qualifications:

* A four year Electrical Engineering degree(or equivalent field experience)
* PleaseDO NOTapply unless you have aminimum of 6 yearsof experiencesupervising heavy industrial constructionprojects. A bulk of this experience absolutely must be withwater/wastewater treatment plants.
* Beyond a water/wastewater treatment background, experience with other industrial construction projects is a plus(nuclear power plants, etc.)
* Experiencesupervising the electrical sideof these projects ismandatory(variable frequency drives operating HVAC pumps, motor controls, etc.)
* Instrumentation experience is a plus but is not required
* AMaster Electrician Licenseis strongly preferred
* Additional experience beyond the electrical side(including civil, mechanical, etc.) is also a plus
