Cyber Analyst
BAE Systems is seeking a Cyber Analyst in support of IA/CND analysis and investigation for a large Government contract. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: â?¢ Cyber analysis & reporting on malicious software and media â?¢ Produce initial report on severity of reported cyber security event â?¢ Produce deep technical analysis and trending as required â?¢ Perform data mining in support of customer requirements, to include basic tool development, database development, and other tasks as defined by best practice software development lifecycle management. â?¢ Coordinating receipt of copies of malware (receiving copies of the actual offending software code and medium by which it was transmitted, which created the computer security event or incident), logs & affected media.
Required Skills:The ideal candidate will have experience in an intelligence community or Military planning position. Intelligence analysts with significant experience in correlating data related to APT cyber intrusions is highly desired. Ability to author INFOSEC related reports supported by pattern and technical analysis Previous experience as an INFOSEC, counterintelligence, or intelligence specialist tasked with technical reports drafting assignments. Substantial cyber threat and/or INFOSEC analysis experience. Familiarity with advanced cyber intrusions (desired). Strong communication written and oral skills are a must. Administrative and organizational skills required. CISSP or GIAC certification preferred.
