Major Responsibilities of Position INclude:
· Set-up, troubleshooting, repair and perform maintenance of plant equipment;
· Set up, program, troubleshoot, and calibrate Programmable Logic Controllers, PC-based control programs, controllers, and instrumentation installed in the plant.

· Ability to work independently but at the same time coordinate activities with the needs of the Maintenance Department and the operating departments of the plant;
· Ability to communicate concisely and effectively with plant customers and co-workers;
· A work ethic that consistently produces safe, quality, cost-effective work.

Business/Technical Skills & Experiences Required:
· Familiar / experience with the mechanical and electrical operation of plant equipment (including but not limited to pumps, compressors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, fans, HVAC equipment, chillers, motors, etc.) to the extent of efficient installation, troubleshooting and repair of those systems.
· Operating knowledge of PLC’s, PC’s, controllers, and plant instrumentation (both analog and digital)
· Minimum of 7 years experience in the industrial manufacturing environment with all applicable maintenance trade skills including a broad working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and plant utility systems.
· 3 years experience primarily trouble-shooting, and calibrating Programmable Logic Controllers, PC-based controllers, and instrumentation typically installed in a Chemical plant.
· Knowledge of HVAC systems would be a plus.


Education "Required":
High school diploma; PreferMilitary / Trade School training in controls and instrumentation.
