Cardiovascular Technologist Department: CARDIAC VASCULAR LAB Schedule: PRN Shift: Any Shift Hours: Varying Job Details: * High School/GED * Is responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in a timely fashion while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MILES RADIUS FOR CALL. Education: Associates Preferred; Graduation from a AMA-JCH approved program for Radiological Technology. Experience: Six months of cardiovascular and intervention training and/or experience. Required Licensure: Current registry in the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) and current license from State of Maryland. Certification: Must be CPR certified and Defibrillation certified Computing Skills: Specialized knowledge in one or more software, hardware, or information systems. Specific Requirements: Full knowledge of catheters, guide wires, needles, dilators and other angiographic instrumentation in cardiovascular lab.
