Responsibilities: - Perform all accounting duties under supervision of Division Controller - Assist in DCAA and CPA firm audits - Assist in implementation of new ERP system - Perform A/R and A/P functions - Generate financial reports as needed - Monthly close and variance analysis - Bank, payroll, credit card and invoice reconciliations - Assist in cost accounting exercises and forward pricing rate initiatives - Support incurred cost submissions and disclosure statement preparation - Responsible for all journal entries and G/L postings - Maintain accounting documents for audit purposes - Work with financial / project administrator to develop cross-functional skill set
Qualifications: - at least 7 years government contract accounting experience - well versed in FAR, CAS, DCAA requirements - QuickBooks experience - Advanced use of Excel including modeling with macros, pivot tables and various lookup configurations - Defense contracting G/L experience - BA/BS in Accounting - Strong GAAP and SOX understanding - Oracle experience (preferred) - Access, VBA and/or SQL experience (preferred) - CPA or CPA candidate (preferred)
